Stop imagining, thanks to Arizona tax laws you can!

Arizona's tax payers may now redirect up to $1000 a year in state tax dollars to a "private school tuition organization" and receive a dollar for dollar tax credit when filing a state income tax return.

If you: Owe $1,200 in AZ tax, take the $1000. tax credit
and your tax liability will be $200.

Remember, you do not have to participate with the maximum amount
of $1000. per married couple or $500 for a single individual, any amount will be helpful.

Contributions up to $1000  can be made throughout the year; however,
the deadline for making the contribution is December 31.

It's just 2 easy steps:

  1. Fill out the form. (Online, by phone or by mail.)
  2. When you file your annual state income taxes, attach the tax form and receipt indicating your contribution

You will receive a dollar for dollar credit for up to $1000. on your state income tax.
This credit reduces the amount of state income tax you owe.

To top it all off you may also claim the gift as a charitable tax deduction on your Federal tax form.
